There's a petition on change.org to change the date of Halloween from October 31st to the last Saturday of October.
The Halloween & Costume Association started the petition and has almost 100,000 signatures and counting. The goal was only 75,000 signatures and the petition will be sent to President Trump.
The reason for the change is due to both safety and logistic reasons. For more info check out the petition at change.org.
