Kate is a rural American teenager with a problem. It's her 16th birthday, she's never been kissed, and she's afraid somebody will point out what a loser she is in the romance department. BFF Darby plans to lose her virginity today, so Darby isn't exactly a bulwark of support. Kate's irreverent fantasies of sexual awakening and guilt drive this explosive day. Kate pretends not to care about Darby's plan - and Kate focuses on playing matchmaker to her misfit fellowemployees at the Riverside food stand. THIS IS A MOVIE FOR ADULTS, WITH SOME VERY DARK CONTENT AND ALOT OF NUDITY.
OVERALL A VERY ENTERTAINING MOVIE THAT KEPT MY ATTENTION FOR THE ENTIRE 2 HR 47MIN. YOU DONT HAVE TO BE AN AVID FAN OF THE COMIC BOOK, BECAUSE THE MOVIE TAKES YOU THROUGH MOST OF THE CHARACTERS BACK STORIES WHILE STILL KEEPING THE PLOT MOVING FORWARD. THIS IS A REAL TWIST ON A SUPERHERO MOVIE, BUT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT IT IS DEFINITLY RATED "R".
