Simon Keenlyside and Natalie Dessay bring their extraordinary acting and singing skills to two of the Bard's most unforgettable characters in this new production of Ambroise Thomas's Hamlet. For the role of Ophelia, the French composer created an extended mad scene that is among the greatest in opera.

THIS IS A MOVIE FOR ADULTS, WITH SOME VERY DARK CONTENT AND ALOT OF NUDITY. OVERALL A VERY ENTERTAINING MOVIE THAT KEPT MY ATTENTION FOR THE ENTIRE 2 HR 47MIN. YOU DONT HAVE TO BE AN AVID FAN OF THE COMIC BOOK, BECAUSE THE MOVIE TAKES YOU THROUGH MOST OF THE CHARACTERS BACK STORIES WHILE STILL KEEPING THE PLOT MOVING FORWARD. THIS IS A REAL TWIST ON A SUPERHERO MOVIE, BUT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT IT IS DEFINITLY RATED "R".
