Chris Young is ready to sing the Immortal words this Saturday night at NASCAR's Aaron's 312 race at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
The race airs at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN, and Chris also will play a free infield concert later that night.
The very same day, Martina McBride will be singing the national anthem before the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. That happens at 5 p.m. ET this Saturday on NBC.
Country stars often kick off races at Talladega, but the Kentucky Derby uses stars from all musical genres, so this is quite an honor for Martina.
Here are samples of Chris and Martina. Chris Young sang the anthem Opening day for the Chicago White Sox and Martina has handled the pressure many times, from the race track at Daytona to Hienz Field for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Below you can hear Martina help to open up a game in baseball's World Series!
