A new yahoo finance report says American kids are pulling in more than a little pocket change. A new survey says that they're getting an average of $65 a month to spend as they like, and that doesn't include the things mom and dad buy for them. And what's worse, just 1 percent of parents say their kids put any of it into savings.
I guess that boils down to $15 a week, and I guess if the kids are in high school maybe they need it. The most I ever got was $10 a week, but that included my lunch money for the whole week!
So I gotta ask... What are you paying your kids?
